The phrase "relevant network operator" in the first sentence of the first paragraph of Article 9 of the Electricity Market Measurement Systems Regulation, published in the Official Gazette dated 28/12/2023 and numbered 32413, has been changed to "distribution network operator," and the following paragraph has been added to the same article.
“(6) Meters and modems to be installed at the metering points within the user’s property boundaries for the production facilities to be connected to the transmission system are provided by the user and installed by TEİAŞ.”
The following paragraph has been added to Article 13 of the same Regulation.
“(5) Communication units purchased in accordance with the Communication Unit Technical Specifications coded TEDAŞ – MLZ/2019-064.A can be installed after 1/3/2026, in line with the conditions specified in the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Dissemination and Use of Smart Meter Systems.”
The second paragraph of temporary article 1 of the same Regulation has been amended as follows:.
“(2) Except for the meters of the power plants within the Electricity Generation Corporation, if the meters used in the calculations within the scope of the legislation (transmission fee, settlement procedures and similar) are not located at the measurement points established in accordance with this Regulation, the connection points of the meters shall be brought into compliance with the legislation by 1/1/2027.”
The phrase “1/1/2026” in the first paragraph of Article 3 of the same Regulation has been changed to “1/3/2026”, and the second paragraph of the same article has been repealed.
